City of Wilmington is the largest city in the state of Delaware, United States, and is located at the confluence of the Christina River and Brandywine Creek, near where the Christina flows into the Delaware River.
It is the county seat of New Castle County and one of the major cities in the Delaware Valley metropolitan area. In 2010 the city population was 70,851 in a land area of 17 square miles.

Wilmington Fire Department - Stations & Apparatus
|
The Wilmington Fire Department - is a career, professional fire department which was established in 1921. The department currently maintains six engine companies, two ladder companies, and a marine fire fighting force. The department is divided into two functional divisions, each under the command of a Deputy Chief; the Operations Division and the Fire Prevention Division.
Wilmington firefighters are members of the IAFF Local 1590
